By Air:

  1. Arrival at Malaga Airport (AGP): Start your journey by flying into Malaga Airport (AGP), which is the nearest major airport serving the region.

  2. Rental Car: The most convenient way to reach Canillas de Aceituno and explore the surrounding areas is to rent a car at Malaga Airport. Car rental companies are available at the airport, and you can book in advance to ensure availability.

By Road: 3. Directions from Malaga Airport to Canillas de Aceituno:

  • Exit the airport and follow signs to the A-7 highway (Autovía del Mediterráneo) in the direction of Almeria.

  • Continue on the A-7 until you reach Exit 272 (Algarrobo, Torrox, Competa, and Vélez-Málaga).

  • Take the exit and follow signs to Torrox (MA-3203) and then to Cómpeta (MA-3200).
