  2. By Train: Troon has its own railway station, making it easily accessible by train. There are regular train services connecting Troon to major cities like Glasgow and Ayr. From Glasgow, you can catch a direct train to Troon, with the journey taking around 45 minutes.

  3. By Car: If you prefer driving, Troon is well-connected by road. The town is located off the A78 coastal road, which runs between Irvine and Ayr. If you're coming from Glasgow, you can take the M8 motorway westbound and then join the A78 towards Troon. The journey typically takes around 45 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic conditions.

  4. By Bus: Bus services also operate to and from Troon, connecting it with nearby towns and cities. There are regular bus routes provided by Stagecoach, which serve various destinations in the region. Ayrshire X77 and X44 are two popular bus routes that connect Troon with Glasgow and Ayr.

Climate
