Location & About the Area

Caunes-Minervois is a small town located in the Occitanie region of southern France. It is situated in the department of Aude, near the foothills of the Pyrenees mountains. One of the town's most prominent features is its beautiful Romanesque abbey, the Abbey of Saint Peter and Saint Paul, which dates back to the 8th century. The abbey is a popular destination for visitors and is known for its stunning architecture, intricate sculptures, and beautiful stained glass windows.
